Fr. Francisco Radecki has been pastor of St. Joseph's for 16 years. The parish was incorporated in the State of Michigan on February 27, 1989 and draws people from Southeast Michigan, Northwest Ohio and Western Ontario. The parish school has been operating since 1998. Fr. Radecki was born in Toledo, Ohio in 1957 and entered Mount St. Michael Seminary in Spokane, Washington where he and his twin brother Fr. Dominic were ordained on May 27, 1988. Father served at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Akron, Ohio for five years before coming to Michigan. He is a member of the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen (CMRI) and also serves as archivist for the Congregation. Father enjoys working with the community, was a member of the Nativity Scene Fundraising Committee and currently serves on the Wayne Development Area Citizens Council (DACC). Father Francisco authored a book last July and he and his
twin brother together co-authored two other books. One has sold out. The
other books: Tumultuous
Times and The
Family Catechism received five star ratings and can be found

Media and at other major bookstores. He has been a guest speaker at
Mensa, Global
Talk Radio and has appeared on Fox News. In the spring of 2006, Father
was named Managing Editor of The
Reign of Mary, the official quarterly publication of the CMRI. |
